The Body as a Space we Inhabit (1)
2019

Sculpture- Latex, Acrylic fake nails, Ballpoint pen

An inquiry into self expression through the medium of tattooing culminated in a collection of artefacts that explores themes of image, permanence and identity. The body as a space we inhabit 1, reimagines the body as an autonomous vessel for adornment, decoration and modification, visualised through the latex life cast.

The work was exhibited as part of the RMIT Communication Design Grad Show in 2019, alongside The Body as a Space we Inhabit (2)
