The Body as a Space we Inhabit (2) was a project spanning 4 months, culminating in a photographic and journalistic exploration into tattoos as a form of self expression and adornment.

A collation of these interviews, paired with photography by Ruby Healey, makes up a book that brings together 11 unique ideas and experiences layered on acetate over medium format photos.

Big thanks to my collaborator and photographer Ruby Healey, and those who lent their time, selves and words to this project:

Christina, Harrison, Owen, Jordana, Tash, Johanna, Lucy, Eilish, Sonj, Royce and Maureen.
